Autumn update
One of the most helpful practices I use is also one of the most simple ones: taking a moment to breathe and checking in with myself. How am I doing? how does my body feel and what is it telling me? am I heading in the right direction in my life or have I gone off course? What do I need, right now?
Asking all these questions might sound like a deep, reflective process but actually, with a bit of practice, it can become so easy to do. With a bit of practice, it’s possible to connect with ourselves and tap into our innate source of wisdom and knowledge, while having the first coffee of the day. Doing this helps to keep track of what’s going on in our lives and in our bodies, find the early signs when things might start to be a bit more difficult, and prevent it from escalating.
If you feel like you need some support doing this, if you’re struggling at the moment or just feeling like you could do with some space to reflect and/or check in with yourself – it’s best to listen to that impulse and find a way to make sure your needs are met, in whichever method that suits you best.
Autumn Update:
• 2 places are available for new or returning clients and can be either for individuals or couples. Sessions are currently online. Contact details for an initial (and free) appointment are below.
• I have decided to offer a special concession offer to people who might not be able to afford the usual cost of therapy. The process will be short-term – up to 6 sessions (online) – and is offered at half of my usual fees. Attending will be based on trust and no evidence of income etc will be required. At the moment I have 2 places available and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If there’s a demand for this I might consider continuing to offer this service in the future.
Email for more information.
